Weekend escapes on Malaysia’s winding roads
Trust me when I say this, driving along the Karak Highways in the Porsche 718 has been one of the most exciting and exhilarating rides I had so far. It delivers a sharp handling ability with its mid-engine balance, ensuring that I can smoothly cut through the winds on the Malaysian roads. The 2.0L turbocharged engine, on the other hand, generates a quick, instant acceleration while the cabin feels snug- something you can expect only from a true sports car. While daily commutes in KL are doable, I always get worried about the speed bumps as this 718 car features a low seating position. But that’s not the complaint I have. Rather, it’s about the limited luggage space which makes it unsuitable for family trips.
