Check out Proton’s third 3S Centre in Kuantan region

KUALA LUMPUR: A new Proton 3S Centre is now open and running in Kuantan, Pahang. It is the brand’s third outlet in the region and showcases the Proton’s new corporate identity. With this new 3S Centre, Proton’s total number of 3S and 4S centre reaches 102, and more are on its way under the brand’s transformational programme.

Pesat Auto operates the new Proton 3S centre that has a built-up area of 750 sq meters - housing six service bays and four elevators. The 3S centre has been built with a total investment of RM 2.3 million. Pesat Auto has forecasted that with this new Kuantan 3S centre, Proton’s sale would hike by 30 percent and service overall could increase by around 40 percent. The outlet is located right on the main road of the town.

Tee Keh Hock, Pesat Auto director said, “The business landscape has changed tremendously over the years. Customers’ needs and expectations have also changed rapidly. A one-stop centre will be a platform that will allow us to fulfill our customers’ requests and at the same time, expand and broaden our customer base.”

Proton CEO, Dr. Li Chunrong said, “What we are trying to do is ensure that when a customer walks into a Proton outlet, they immediately feel the Proton experience. We emphasize customer care, and more importantly, addressing any issues in a professional way.” He further said that the automaker understands that listening is not an option, but it is a priority and knows the more they’ll engage with the needs of the customers, the better the brand will be able to serve and solve their problems.

As for a little update, Proton sold 9,127 units countrywide, this represents 36 percent year-on-year growth, thus making it the highest seller among the top five auto brands in the country. In Pahang, Proton sales have grown by up to 10 percent compared to the same period last year, of this 30 percent comes from the brand’s first SUV, the X70.
