Great Wall M4 Elite add-on kit for RM10k

Kuala Lumpur: Great Wall M4 is now available with an additional kit for Malaysians at the cost of around RM10k. This huge vehicle is offered in three trim levels to the local residents, which are named as Great Wall M4 Standard, Great Wall M4 Comfort and Great Wall M4 Premium. The add-on kit to the current generation vehicle is exclusively offered to the M4 Premium trim.

The Great Wall M4 Elite will show few changes in its exterior styling from the prior. Some of the styling changes include a new halogen projector headlight design, LED positioning lamps and fog lamps. You will also see some changes on the front grille with a hexagonal mesh design (as one can see on the rugged and sporty Range Rover Evoque). The edges of the Elite trim is rounded off badging on its liftgate.

The 16-inch alloy wheels in a new thin multi-spoke design give it a smooth ride even in tough courses. They are also finsihed in a two-tone paint job, and wrapped with Continental Max Contact 5 tyres. The roof of the SUV gets a matte black vinyl wrap which makes it look unique and refreshing.

Under the hood, the SUV is still powered by a 1.5 litre naturally-aspirated VVT MPI four-cylinder petrol engine providing 105 hp at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm at 4,200 rpm. Said engine is mated to a six-speed automated manual transmission (AMT), which drives the front wheels.

The seats are fabricated with leather material and are finished in a red-black colour combo. In addition to it, you will now get a video recorder located underneath the rear view mirror.

These are some items which are added on top of the already impressive kit of the Premium variant, which includes DVD player, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, a touchscreen navigation system with an around-view monitor, steering wheel audio controls and a rear-view camera with integrated SmartTAG reader.

Other features remain same on the Great Wall M4. On the safety aspect, it offers a composed protection system to the occupants comprising of dual airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and brake assist, ESP, traction control and Hill Start Assist.
