The Ford Ranger Explore & Experience Roadshow to flag off from February 16

KUALA LUMPUR: Ford’s sole distributor in Malaysia, Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) has announced that the “Ford Ranger Explore & Experience Roadshow” will start from the 16th of February and continue till 23rd March. It will be divided into four different 2-day sessions at four different locations.

The first session of this event will be held on 16th and 17th February at SDAC PJ1 Showroom in Jalan 205. On 22nd and 23rd February, the second session of the event will be organised at Tesco Kota Bharu. The third session will be held on 9th and 10th March at Auto Lumina Showroom on Jalan Persisiran Perling 2. The final (fourth) session will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of March and will be organised at SDAC Juru Showroom on Highway Auto City.

Interested people can visit the listed Ford showrooms and “explore and experience” the smart and safe technologies imbibed in the Ranger. These technologies have helped the Ranger pickup truck in setting a benchmark for the industry and also in winning multiple recognitions including the “Pickup Truck of the Year” in 2018.

The Ford roadshow will include a lot of family-friendly activities like the rubber duck, plinko, etc. There will also be a kids colouring corner to keep the small minds busy. The visitors who take a test drive on the pickup truck will also have a chance to enter the Ford wind tunnel and get some exclusive merchandise from the company.

The Ford Ranger is available in nine variants in the Malaysian market including the big Ranger Raptor, the off-road performance car. There is a 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine in this lineup, which is the latest addition from the company. The engine comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission on selected variants. This results in excellent performance, improved mileage, and unchallenged responsiveness.
