2023 Ford Everest WildTrak launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) has expanded the Ford Everest lineup in Malaysia with the launch of an all-new WildTrak variant. Targeting adventure-loving individuals, the Everest WildTrak comes with the signature WILDTRAK accents both inside and outside and 4WD capabilities. It is priced at RM 338,888 (on the road without insurance).

The 2023 Ford Everest WildTrak is positioned above the Everest Titanium in the SUV’s lineup. It sports a bold grille with black ‘WILDTRAK’ letters on the hood, distinctive front and rear bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels shod with 255/55R20 tyres, raised roof rails, panoramic moonroof, LED Matrix headlights with Auto High Beam, and rear spoiler, 

The special edition Eversest is sprayed with a new colour, Luxe Yellow, with Boulder Grey accents. Two other exterior shades available for the SUV are - Meteor Grey and Absolute Black.

Powering the new Everest Wildtrak is a 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 210 PS at 3,750 rpm and a peak torque of 500 Nm from 1,750 - 2,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and 4WD capabilities in six selectable drive modes - Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand.

The cabin of the Ford Everest WildTrak has been completely redesigned with black synthetic leather seats decorated with orange stitching and ambient lighting on the dashboard.

On purchase of the Ford Everest WildTrak, SDAC offers a 3-year/100,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
