However, the dull design of the cabin, especially that of the dashboard, makes it look a bit dated. The 2.0-litre petrol engine which is present beneath the bonnet of the Mitsubishi ASX is quite powerful for a vehicle of this size. However, the engine isn’t as fuel-efficient as one would expect it to be. The Mitsubishi ASX has been in the market for quite a long time, without much changes jn its exterior design. Due to this, the ASX has started to show its age, which makes it quite difficult to succeed, especially after the fact that there are many new and contemporary designs marking their entry in the midsize SUV segment.
