2026 Aprilia SR GT 200 Sport launched in Malaysia at RM 15,900

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Aprilia bikes in Malaysia, Didi Group, has launched the all-new SR GT 200 Sport in the country. It is an urban adventure scooter featuring a sporty Italian design, everyday practicality and advanced engineering, built for both city commuting and light off-road exploration.

Price 

The Aprilia SR GT Sport 200 is priced at RM 15,900 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration) in Malaysia. Included in the price is a two-year or 20,000 km mileage warranty (whichever comes first) against manufacturing defects.

Engine and transmission 

The SR GT Sport 200 is powered by an i-get 174-cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder SOHC engine, which generates a maximum power of 17.4 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 16.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a CVT gearbox mated to a belt drive system. 

Design and features

The scooter boasts an aggressive and adventure-inspired design with a sharp front fascia, tall windscreen, wide handlebars, and a dual-sport seat. With a raised stance and crossover attitude, the vehicle features bold decals and racing-inspired graphics. It rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels wrapped with 110/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres.

Suspension & braking

The Showa suspension setup comprises conventional telescopic forks at the front with 120 mm of wheel travel and twin shock absorbers with preload adjustability at the rear. As for braking, it gets a 260 mm front disc with ABS functionality and a 220 mm rear disc.
