All Kawasaki & Modenas models to enjoy two-year unlimited mileage warranty

KUALA LUMPUR: The wholly owned subsidiary of Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (MODENAS), Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS), have announced that all Kawasaki and Modenas rebranded models registered from 1 July 2023 onwards, between 250cc to 1000cc, will benefit from 2 years of unlimited mileage warranty programme.

Previously the company offered a standard warranty of 2 years or 20,000km (whichever comes first), however, with the revised warranty programme the owners can enjoy peace of mind on long journey rides to truly feel the performance of the Kawasaki motorcycles.

Roslan Roskan, Chief Executive Officer of MODENAS says – “By eliminating the distance restrictions from the existing warranty, our users will be able to enjoy their motorcycle more freely and most importantly with a peace of mind. The programme is also a show of confidence from MODENAS to all its users out there on the quality of each of its products. Also, to all owners, please ensure to follow the service schedule at your authorized Kawasaki / Modenas service centers or dealers closely to avoid the coverage being void as prevention is always better than cure.”

The Kawasaki nationwide warranty programme will come as standard, it comprises -

• Each new part or accessory is free of manufacturing defects for the period of 24 months from the original date of sale by an authorized Kawasaki dealer
• The warranty expires in all cases after the specific period from the date of sale to the original purchaser
• The brand recommends the vehicle be serviced by an authorized Kawasaki dealer in accordance with the servicing schedules detailed in your owner’s manual as products perform best with regular maintenance and servicing
• 24/7 roadside assist services
• Same current terms and conditions as per the standard manufacturer warranty
• The warranty shall stay with the bike when sold or transferred to a new customer
