Yamaha introduces its new hybrid connected scooter, the Fazzio

KUALA LUMPUR: Yamaha has started the new year with new hopes and with this enters its newest model, the 2022 Fazzio Hybrid. Priced at 21.7 million rupiah (approx. RM 6,340), Yamaha’s new hybrid scooter comes in four exciting colour options - blue, red, white, and black.

Currently limited to the Indonesian market, the Fazzio Hybrid is powered by a 124.8 cc, single-cylinder, SPOHC mill that’s designed with Yamaha’s Blue Core engine efficiency. The engine puts out a maximum power output of 8.3 hp at 6,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 10.6 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via CVT unit and belt drive.

Adding a burst of power and assisting the engine is the Smart Motor Generator whose contribution kicks in when the rider accelerates to a maximum of three seconds. Further, the engine start/stop not only improves efficiency but reduces noise and emissions at idle.

2022 Yamaha Fazzio features -

Yamaha has packed its new hybrid scooter with several smart gears that only adds to the rider’s comfort and convenience. The list includes a smart key, a full digital speedometer, an electric power socket, LED headlights, an equipment pocket below the handlebars, hazard lamp, electric power socket, a large storage compartment (17.8-litre), two cargo hooks, a large floorboard, big tubeless tyres, and accessory hangers on the sides.

If that’s not enough, Yamaha is offering the Fazzio hybrid scooter with several accessories, such as an accessories port for outer luggage (max capacity: 1kg), leg soft bag (max capacity: 1kg), and custom cover panel.

Over and above all this, the 2022 Yamaha Fazzio hybrid comes equipped with the first-in-class Communication Control Unit (CCU) tech that connects the motorcycle with smartphones through the Yamaha Y-Connect app.
