Over six nonstop school runs, carpools, and grocery stops, the Infiniti QX50 delivered around 23.5 mpg, all thanks to its stop-start system. The acceleration is not that quick to enthrall a performance enthusiast, but it’s reliable. When merging, the dual exhaust gives a glimpse of sportiness. The rear seats are versatile and supportive, and the power liftgate has proved to be very handy. I have fallen in love with the hand-stitched leather dash. However, the storage of the center console could be deeper.
