Kia Picanto gets much-awaited facelift; check full details

KUALA LUMPUR: Kia has given the Picanto hatchback a facelift which makes the car even more attractive and comforting.

Variants

Kia is offering the Picanto facelift in two variant options - the baseline and GT Line.

Exterior

• The hatchback embodies the ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy
• It features the brand’s signature ‘tiger nose’
• The headlights and taillights showcase a connected design
• Depending on the variant picked, the car is offered in three wheel options - 14-inch, 15-inch, and 16-inch wheels
• The GT Line trim features a “confident” front end with several sporty elements like a special rear diffuser

Interior

Though largely the same as the pre-facelift model, the new Picanto features -

8.0-inch floating touchscreen head unit
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity
Kia Connect (in certain regions)

Powertrain

The new Picanto is offered in two engine options - a 1.0-litre and a 1.2-litre unit, both naturally aspirated and paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automated manual transmission.
