Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s AMG Celebration: 8 owners win AMG Ice Experience

KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia recently rolled out the red carpet for its AMG customers with the AMG Celebration – Drive to Thrill, an event that celebrated what AMG is really about—performance, luxury, and speed.

Eight new Mercedes-AMG owners were gifted an all-expense-paid ticket to the AMG Experience on Ice, valued at around RM50,000 each.

It's not just another free trip, this one sounds like a trip of a lifetime, where participants get to slide high-performance AMGs on ice in Sweden, paired with a pit stop in Stuttgart, Germany, for a full-blown AMG immersion.

To win the experience, customers simply had to buy a Mercedes-AMG in 2024 and show up for the event. The celebration brought together AMG diehards, club members, and curious enthusiasts, all bound by their love for Mercedes’ big horsepower and sharp design vehicles.

Aside from the grand prize, there were other cool experiences up for grabs too, like tickets to see the Mercedes-AMG GT Racing Aurora tear up the Bangsaen Street Circuit in Thailand’s TSS Super Series.

And if that wasn’t enough, there were also passes to the Mercedes-Benz Driving Experience 2025 at the Sepang International Circuit.

What’s the AMG Experience on Ice About?

In Sweden’s Lapland, a frozen lake over 60 centimeters thick becomes the host for the AMG Experience on Ice. It’s not just about pointless driving, as it’s about learning to handle AMG cars on slippery surfaces, with an ice track inspired by the Nürburgring Nordschleife to push your skills.

Off the track, participants will be staying at the Silverhatten Hotel, surrounded by Arctic wilderness, offering a mix of challenging driving and a comfortable place to unwind.

The AMG Experience series has been organising high flying trips since 2007, thrilling drivers across 15 markets, including countries like China, USA, Australia and of course now, Malaysia.

It’s an event that blends the theory, safety, and pure driving pleasure wrapped up in a five-star package. It's all about high-speed maneuvers, advanced tech insights, and top-tier hospitality.
