KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda has officially launched the 2025 Honda CB750 for the Malaysian market, giving its middleweight streetfighter a sharper attitude, updated suspension settings, and rider-focused features – all wrapped in a bold new look.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
What’s new in the 2025 Honda CB750?
Updated suspension tuning, more aggressive styling with dual LED projector headlamp, and continued support for advanced electronics like ride modes and smartphone connectivity. How much does it cost and is the Quickshifter included?
It’s priced at RM49,999. The Quickshifter is not included but can be purchased separately. The CB750, known as the “Hornet” in other markets, is powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine with a 270° crank. It pushes out 67.5 kW (around 90 hp) at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm.

Mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch, the engine offers strong low-end torque, smooth high-rev performance, and easier shifting during aggressive downshifts.
For 2025, Honda has made minor but important changes to the suspension for better agility and improved front-end feel. The bike uses Showa’s Separate Function Fork - Big Piston (SFF-BP) forks up front and a Pro-Link rear shock, aiming for a more responsive ride especially in tight city riding or weekend corner carving.
Visually, the CB750 has been given a more aggressive makeover. Up front is a new dual LED projector headlamp flanked by a sleeker cowl for improved night visibility and aerodynamics.
The tank design has been reshaped with inspiration from a hornet’s wings, while the compact tail and stubby nose round out the streetfighter stance. The new look is functional too, with a narrow tank and low seat height making it more accessible to a range of riders.
Braking is handled by dual radial-mounted four-piston callipers, while 120mm front and 160mm rear tyres provide a good balance of grip and manoeuvrability. Despite the performance-oriented setup, comfort hasn't been thrown out – this is still a versatile everyday machine.
Electronics remain a strong point for the CB750. Throttle-by-wire allows for three preset ride modes – Sport, Standard, and Rain – plus a user-configurable mode that lets riders tweak power delivery, engine braking, traction control, and wheelie control.
A five-inch TFT screen returns, now with optical bonding to improve readability in direct sunlight. The display also includes Honda RoadSync, allowing smartphone connectivity for navigation, calls, messages, and music via a handlebar-mounted 4-way switch.
While a Quickshifter isn’t standard, it is available as an accessory and can be installed at any Big Wing dealer.
Two colour options are on offer: Matte Pearl Glare White and Glint Wave Blue Metallic, with the bike priced at RM49,999 (excluding insurance, road tax, and registration). It also comes with a 2-year/20,000 km manufacturer warranty, whichever comes first.
Speaking at the launch, Boon Siew Honda’s CEO and Managing Director Mr. Kunitomo Asano said, “The CB750 has always stood out as a bold streetfighter design. For 2025, we’ve taken it a step further by enhanced design, sharper handling, and rider-focused technology to create a machine that feels as aggressive as it looks.”
