2026 Yamaha NMax ABS gets a colour update in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Yamaha Motor has updated the NMax ABS in Malaysia. For the model year 2026, the scooter gets two new colour options - Icon Blue and Crystal Graphite, giving riders more ways to express their style. 

With the colour upgrade, there is no change in price and specifications. The popular Japanese scooter is still priced at RM 11,498 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration) as before.

At the core lies the same tried and tested 155-cc Blue Core liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC single-cylinder, 4-valve fuel-injected engine, which delivers 15.4 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. Sending power to the rear wheel is a CVT gearbox.

Style-wise, the NMAX continues to turn heads with its sporty, upscale look featuring a sleek and aerodynamic body, dual-element LED projector headlights, LED tail light and smooth body panels. It comes with a monochrome LCD instrument panel that supports Y-Connect functionality, ensuring data is communicated to the rider’s smartphone.

Other key highlights include - 

• 13-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 110/70-13 and 130/70-13 front and rear tyres
• Telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear
• Single hydraulic discs at both ends
• Two-channel ABS
• 25 litres underseat storage
• Smart key system
• Charging port inside the front cowl 
•  7.1-litre fuel tank

The new Yamaha NMax ABS is now available at all Hong Leong Yamaha Motor dealer showrooms across the country.
