SYM Husky 200 scooter launched in Malaysia at RM 10,998

KUALA LUMPUR: Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd has recently launched the all-new SYM Husky 200 at the Mforce MotoXperience 2026 event. It is an adventure-style scooter that joins SYM’s existing Husky range, which already includes the Husky 150 and Husky 300.

Price and colours

The new Husky scooter is priced at RM 10,998 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration) in Malaysia. Included in the price is a two-year, unlimited-mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.

Three available colour options are - Glossy Green, White and Silk Purple.

Engine and transmission

At the core of this adventure scooter lies a 175-cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, OHC engine that generates a maximum power of 16 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 15.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox and a belt drive system.

Dimensions

The scooter measures 1,980 mm in length, 780 mm in width, and 1,225 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 1,390 mm. The seat height is estimated at 810 mm. It comes equipped with a 15-litre fuel tank capacity, allowing you to enjoy an extended ride without frequent stops for refuelling.

Design and features

The new Husky 200 boasts a rugged character and practical design with sharp body lines, two headlights, a clear windscreen and a one-piece dual seat. It incorporates storage compartments under the seat and inside the front cowl, providing riders enough space to carry their daily essentials.

• USB charging port
• 13-inch wheels with 120/70 front and 130/70 rear tyres
• Telescopic forks (non-adjustable) at the front and a monoshock at the rear, adjustable for spring preload
• Hydraulic brake discs at both ends, complemented by a two-channel anti-lock braking system
