The Chery Tiggo Cross offers a pleasant and cushioned ride, courtesy the well-tuned suspension setup that absorbs most road bumps. The car is mounted on MacPherson strut in the front and a torsion beam rear suspension that strikes a nice balance between comfort and stability. The Tiggo Cross isn’t overly sporty. The handling feels predictable and secure while cornering. The body roll is well-controlled. Overall, the Chery Tiggo Cross manages to deliver a, confident and smooth ride suitable for daily commuting and long drives.

The entry-level model of the 2025 Chery Tiggo Cross is equipped with a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 145 PS/210 Nm torque. The motor is connected to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. On city roads, the 2025 Chery Tiggo Cross offers responsive acceleration and decent fuel economy. But the delay in gear-shift may feel jerky. On highways, the car cruises comfortably with ample torque. The Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) model combines petrol and electric motor for 204PS/310 Nm output.
