For those looking at the brand’s electrified models, the biggest focus is on the Tiggo Cross HEV, Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 8 PHEV, with rebates starting from RM7,888.
For the festive campaign, the Tiggo Cross HEV gets a RM7,888 rebate, while both the Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 8 PHEV come with RM8,888 in savings. Chery says these rebates apply only to Year of Manufacture 2025 vehicles.
The company is putting plenty of attention on its plug-in hybrid range, which it says is built to suit long-distance Malaysian driving.

For buyers heading back to their hometowns over Raya, the pitch is simple enough, fewer fuel stops, less charging anxiety, and a more relaxed drive.
In Peninsular Malaysia, retail pricing and festive rebates are structured as follows. The Tiggo 7 PHEV is priced at RM129,800, with a RM8,888 rebate, and it also comes with a 10-year battery warranty or 200,000 km.
The Tiggo 8 PHEV is listed at RM159,800 with the same RM8,888 rebate.
The Tiggo Cross HEV is priced at RM99,800 and gets a RM7,888 rebate.
The Tiggo Cross Turbo remains at RM88,800. For non-hybrid buyers, the Tiggo 7 Pro is tagged at RM123,800 with a RM13,888 rebate, while the Tiggo 8 Pro stays at RM159,800 and gets the biggest listed rebate here at RM18,888.
Alongside the push, Chery Malaysia will also hold a Hari Raya Roadshow at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre. At the event, visitors will be able to test drive the Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo Cross HEV, which makes sense given both models are central to the campaign.
The roadshow also leans heavily into family-friendly activities. A children’s colouring contest is set for 14 March, while adults can take part in interactive games for a chance to win Chery merchandise including a Mini Tote Bag, Chery Baseball Cap, Raya Packet Set and Limited-Edition Enamel Pin.

Beyond the mall event, Chery is also trying to to get you to the showroom with a festive-themed social media contest called the PHEV Raya Fit-Check Challenge.
Running from 9 to 31 March, the contest asks members of the public to visit any Chery showroom, test drive a PHEV model while dressed in their best Hari Raya outfit, then post a photo with the vehicle on social media to qualify.
The campaign will feature five categories and the prizes include smartphones, although Chery has yet to outline the full prize breakdown.
Photo from Chery“This Raya, Chery is bringing the celebration both into our showrooms and out to where Malaysians are, supported by festive activities designed to make every journey smoother. It is truly the best time for Malaysians to experience our PHEV technology, especially for those travelling long distances to meet loved ones without any range anxiety.
“We have driven from Kuala Lumpur to Terengganu without needing to refuel, and we are excited for our customers to own a Chery PHEV and feel that same comfort, confidence and impressive range for themselves when they get behind the wheel,” said Lee Wen Hsiang, Vice President of Chery Malaysia.
For buyers already considering a hybrid or plug-in hybrid SUV before balik kampung season, this might be one of the easiest opportunities to do so.
