Unlike other McLaren models, which focus on track performance, the McLaren GT serves as a practical daily driver. I use it daily to commute to and from my office and have no complaints about this car. That mid-mounted engine gives the car a front trunk and a shallow but long luggage compartment above the engine. Its punchy powertrain, communicative steering, smooth transmission and powerful yet easily modulated brakes make driving a breeze. But its fuel economy is lower than some of the rivals in its class.
