2019 Audi A1 revealed with new high tech style

KUALA LUMPUR: The classic Audi A1 was launched back in 2010 and it opened a new road for the Ingolstadt's market. The super-mini car segment - somewhere down the line is still awaiting rivals from Munich and Stuttgart. After eight years, there is another one available in the five-door Sportback body-design.

It is a pretty funny looking car, isn’t it? The front of the vehicle houses the wide single-frame grille and the massive air intakes. The full-LED headlights with arrow-shaped running lights give the car a more creased look. The three slits just above the grille are a "YES" to the Sports Quattro approved special.

Audi has retained the contrast-color of the roof, however, the C-pillars are now wide and raked-another reference to the Sports Quattro. The strong side arches and the upwards inclined shoulders give the sides an extra support and a bolder stance, while the taillights have 3D lenses just like the front.

The vehicle is available in eleven color options along with the contrasting mirror caps, front air inlets, and side sills to catch up with the roof. One can also go the S-line trim level that further adds to the larger air intake, a broader slit just above the grille, side skirts, and a spoiler at the rear. The wheels are 15 to 18 inches in diameter.
The angular look is further carried into the interior that comes with a centre inclined angle towards the driver. There is a twin air vent integrated at the 10.25" digital instrument, while another pair is placed just at the front of the passenger.

 

There are a number of customization options available to choose from, including the multicolored air vents, centre console, and the premium door handles. You can also go for an optional contour and ambient color from more than 30 color options.
