Aston Martin Valhalla supercar arrives in Singapore

KUALA LUMPUR: One of the rarest models of Aston Martin, the all-new 2023 Valhalla hybrid supercar, has made its official debut in Singapore. This exotic two-door British sports car is the brand’s first model equipped with a mid-engine configuration, and its first plug-in hybrid model as well. 

As the worldwide production of the Valhalla is limited to just 999 units, Singapore received 5 out of them, each priced at $4,800,000 (including COE), which is approximately equal to RM 15,833,151. The fans and potential owners can view the supercar in person at the Aston Martin showroom where it is on display till February 20, 2023.

Here are the key highlights of the Aston Martin Valhalla -

• The supercar underpins the same chassis, aerodynamic, and electronics expertise forged in Formula One 
• The new Aston Martin Valhalla is powered by a combination of a 4.0-litre twin-turbo bespoke V8 engine and three motors producing a total output of 1012 PS. Also part of the kit is a 150kW/400V battery
• The power is sent to the wheels via an all-new 8-speed Dual-Clutch (DCT) transmission

• The car breathes via a lightweight exhaust system that houses adjustable flaps, lending it an “authentic Aston Martin sound character"
• The suspension incorporates a pushrod setup at the front and a multi-link system at the rear, along with dampers and springs reducing unsprung mass
• Among the key exterior appointments are a wraparound trademark grille round matrix LED headlights, a toned-down rear diffuser, angular side skirts, and sharp wing mirrors
• The new Valhalla rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres

• Inside, this exotic machine lies a “pared back cockpit design with clear, simple ergonomics unashamedly focused around the driver”
