  • The Maserati Project24 will be powered by a modified version of the Nettuno twin-turbo V6 engine kicking out a maximum power output of 740 hp. Compared to the road-going model, it is up by 119 hp thanks to the engine’s revised twin-turbochargers. The power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox paired with a limited-slip, self-locking mechanical differential, instead of the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which you can find on the MC20.

Adding to the chassis upgrades are

    • A track-specific double-wishbone with a semi-virtual steering axis, adjustable dampers, and anti-roll bars
    • Brembo carbon ceramic ventilated brakes with racing callipers, and a unique cooling system
    • Adjustable racing ABS and traction control

When it comes to the weight, the two-seater homologated car tips the scales at just 1250 kg courtesy of the all-carbon-fibre bodywork. This results in a power-to-weight ratio of 1.69 kilograms per horsepower. The key exterior design changes include -
