What’s behind the Perodua Axia price cut?
Photo from PeroduaThe main reason for this price revision is continued improvements in the automaker's operational efficiency, driven by initiatives to streamline processes in close collaboration with our local suppliers and partners within the automotive ecosystem.
This move reaffirms the company’s commitment to passing tangible value on to its customers amid current economic conditions and ensures continued accessibility of the long-served dependable model to a wider customer base.
“This price revision forms part of our ongoing efforts to ease the cost pressures currently faced by Malaysians,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Dato' Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.
“The new pricing also reflects our ongoing efforts to further improve our operational effectiveness, which has similarly translated into reduced service costs and revised pricing for the QV-E and Battery as a Service (BaaS) offerings,” he added.
“We thank them (vendors and dealers) for extending their full cooperation in enhancing cost efficiency for the collective benefit of the industry and, by extension, all Malaysians,” Dato' Sri Zainal said.
