Perodua hands over 7 Ativa and 2 Aruz to police headquarters in Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Perodua has contributed a total of 9 vehicles to two district police headquarters - IPD Hulu Selangor and IPD KLIA, underlining its support towards law enforcement within the state of Selangor. 

The contribution includes 7 units of the Perodua Ativa and 2 units of the Perodua Aruz. Out of these, the automaker delivered 3 units of the Ativa to the IPD Hulu Selangor in April this year, while the remaining six units (4 Ativa and 2 Aruz) were handed over in a ceremony held at Kuala Kubu  Bharu on 12 October 2026. 

The ceremony was graced by Selangor Chief of Police Dato’ Pahlawan Shazeli Dato’ Kahar, who received mock keys from Dato’ Sri Zainal as a symbol of the partnership between the two parties. 

21 vehicles donated since 2021

Perodua has been supporting patrol and law enforcement operations across the state for several years. Since 2019, it has contributed 21 vehicles to various district headquarters in Selangor. These include - 

• 2 units of the Perodua Bezza in 2019 
• 4 units of the Perodua Myvi in 2022
• 6 units of  various models in 2024

“We appreciate the police’s role in the safety of the country, and we value their sacrifice and dedication when performing their duties.  

“We hope our contribution will help in their efforts to serve the public,” said  Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin  Ahmad.
