How the Perodua Flexiplan works
Customers can choose from four models under this scheme – the Myvi, Axia (excluding the Axia E), Ativa, and Aruz. Financing is based on a Murabahah Vehicle Term Financing structure, which helps reduce the monthly instalments during the initial five-year term.
At the end of those five years, buyers have three choices:
-
Trade in for a new Perodua – The brand will buy back the vehicle at a competitive value, which can be used to offset the down payment for the next car, restarting the five-year cycle.
-
Keep the current car – Settle the outstanding balance in one go.
-
Extend the financing – Continue paying for up to another four years under a revised plan.
The flexibility is meant to accommodate life changes, whether upgrading to a bigger vehicle for a growing family or simply wanting the latest model.

“Today, both Perodua and Maybank Islamic broke new ground as we join forces to offer the best possible financing package which ensures everybody wins; Perodua, Maybank Islamic and, especially our valued customers. We believe that with the backing of Malaysia’s biggest bank combined with the trust that we have earned from Malaysians; the Perodua Flexiplan will be well accepted,” he said.
Maybank Group CEO for Community and Financial Services, Syed Ahmad Taufik Albar, described the plan as part of the bank’s values-based approach to banking.
“We have always been committed to empowering our customers with flexible, transparent, inclusive, and sustainable financial solutions, and Maybank Islamic myimpact Drive Financing-i is a reflection of that. We are proud and excited to provide this innovative approach to all Malaysians alongside Perodua – one that addresses the preferences of modern car buyers and empowers our customers with flexible ownership choices.”
