GWM Malaysia opens new centres in Johor and Selangor, expands network to 40+ outlets

KUALA LUMPUR: Great Wall Motors has opened two new outlets in Malaysia - GWM Skudai in Johor Bahru, Johor, and GWM Equine Park in Seri Kembangan, Selangor- strengthening its presence in key markets across the Southern and Central regions. The expanded network provides Malaysians with greater access to the brand’s growing range of vehicles, sales consultation, test drives and comprehensive after-sales support.

GWM Skudai 3S centre: Key highlights 

• Operated by Auto Elegance Sdn Bhd, the GWM Skudai is a 3S centre, strategically positioned to serve customers across Skudai, Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri and neighbouring communities.
• It spans approximately 22,006 sq. ft. with a spacious display area that can showcase up to five vehicles simultaneously. Customers can check out and test-drive selected GWM models, including the Haval H6, Wey G9, Ora Good Cat, Tank 300, and Tank 500. 
• The well-equipped service centre features three service bays and can support approximately 150 vehicles per month.
• It also houses an EV charging station, a dedicated vehicle delivery bay, a customer lounge and supports approximately 40 jobs across sales, service, technical and customer support functions.

GWM Equine Park 1S+2S centre: Key highlights

• Operated by Golden Admiral Motors Sdn Bhd, the GWM Equine Park strengthens the brand’s presence in the Central region. Located in Equine Park, Seri Kembangan, the outlet serves customers across Seri Kembangan, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and surrounding communities.
• It is a 1S+2S sales and after-sales facility featuring two dedicated premises, with a combined built-up area of approximately 9,431 sq. ft.
• The showroom accommodates a minimum of seven display vehicles, with additional alfresco and test-drive display space.
• The service centre, on the other hand, incorporates four vehicle hoists, tyre balancing and wheel alignment facilities, and diagnostic equipment with capabilities to support the brand’s ICE, HEV, PHEV and EV technologies.
• There are also dedicated customer consultation, vehicle delivery and waiting areas.

GWM Malaysia now operates 40+ outlets, sales growing at 33%Y-o-Y

With the opening of two new outlets, GWM Malaysia now has 40+ outlets in the country, supporting a growing customer base across different brands, including Haval, Tank, Ora and Wey.

As of the end of Q3 2026, the company has sold a total of 5,165 vehicles in Malaysia, representing a 33% year-on-year increase, reflecting its continued growth and positive momentum in the local market.

Beyond increasing its geographical footprint, the automaker also continues to work with its dealer partners to strengthen customer experience standards, technical capabilities, after-sales support and accessibility across the network.
