Volkswagen Beetle Bug Edition and Beetle Club sold out

Kuala Lumpur: Limited units of the Beetle Bug Edition and Beetle Club Edition, an homage to the iconic Volkswagen Beetle, are sold out for the units that were manufactured in limited quantities. The company has manufactured 200 units for the Beetle Bug and 50 for the Beetle Club.

The Beetle Bug Edition, priced at RM146,888 is equipped with a 1.2-litre TSI engine and consists of genuine Volkswagen Bug side sill, side decals, body stripes and Bug logo. The racing stripes embellishment adds a cool, and funky vibe. The car was available in 5 color choices to the buyers for editions sold till date - Graciosa Brown, Deep Black, Pure White, Saturn Yellow and Tornado Red.

Fully imported from Mexico (the global production hub for the Beetle), the Beetle Club edition, priced at RM152,888 given its debut at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2015 last month. The Beetle Club is distinguished by 17-inch ‘Ravenna’ alloy wheels and decals with the word ‘Club’ along the sides behind the wheel arches. The door sills also have a chrome strip and stepping inside, it will be evident that the seats are different as they are exclusive ‘Vienna’ leather sports seats and there’s orange stitching. The steering wheel also has ‘Club’ lettering.
