The new Rush looks quite striking with angular front headlamps, wide front grille, rugged side profile with black cladding, roof rails and machined alloy wheels and the sporty rear profile with wide and horizontal tail lamps. All these design elements make the Rush feel like it is a vehicle from one category above. The new generation Toyota Rush now features the additional flexibility of two extra seats in the third row, making it a seven-seater compact MUV. These extra two seats have a flexible folding arrangement, thus opening up a cavernous boot space at the rear. At the same time, there are multiple cup holders and small storage spaces in the entire cabin, making it a practical place to be in. The previous generation Toyota Rush was known for its almost indestructible feel, and this new version of the Rush feels the same way as well. The too subtle styling on the inside with boring looking instrument console and center console dilutes the overall experience. The new Rush is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is not as exciting in its power delivery as one would expect from it.
