Three new Suzukis coming to Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Do you remember the 2021 launch of the Hayabusa and V-Strom 1050 XT? During the event, Suzuki Malaysia dropped a teaser of a small capacity motorcycle and announced that the said 150cc unit will arrive in early 2022.

 

And guess what, it’s about time for Suzuki Malaysia to keep its word, however, there is no official word from the company yet. It’s mid-February already, Suzuki if you are listening.

Giving us one ray of hope in all the darkness that surrounds the upcoming Suzuki is Ahmad Faez Yahaya, Suzuki Malaysia’s Executive Chairman, recent Facebook past wherein he has posted an update on the upcoming motorcycle.

Above you can see the picture of a new set of tyres in Suzuki’s facility. Though nothing is revealed yet, we know that they are the wheelset for the Belang R150.

In addition, as per reports going around in the market, Suzuki Malaysia will be launching three new models sometime in March 2022.

We have also heard that Suzuki Malaysia might not even use the ‘Belang’ name, instead, we might get it rebadged as Rapid F150, however, nothing is clear or confirmed at the moment.
