Lexus UX Review 2024

The Lexus UX is a car like no other. The automaker has done complete justice in coming up with a car that finally matches itself, head straight with the likes of other premium cars like the Audi & BMW mark. The car has been served right and gets everything the buyers have been expecting from the brand. The Lexus UX picks up on strong styling dynamics and does its best to bring up a product that is solid, aggressive and adds to the legacy of the automaker.

In terms of the design of the car, Lexus seems to have competed with its own RC variant to develop a small, aggressively styled crossover that delivers true meaning to true sports. The car shares its stance with mixed cues over its previously re-designed models. Interestingly, the car also brings forth a brilliant spec sheet that is cumulated with technology that has adapted over the generations.

Lexus UX Interior & Features

Moving inside the Lexus UX, the first thing noticed by the users is the smartly designed cabin that might be small but is equally compressed and designed to suit the needs of the driver of every type.  Its compactly designed interior is centred by a 10.3-inch display that is compatible with Android and Apple car play as well. Keeping up with the details of the driver information is a 7.0-inch LCD cluster.

Another interesting aspect inside the Lexus UX is a wireless charger and heated seats that help with effective driving and seamless charging of devices. Lastly, the UX is definitely more spacious than others in its segment.

UX Exterior

The exterior of the Lexus UX is one of the most prominent designs that the company has been able to come up with. The automaker has done a great job at coming up with a car that picks up on strong design and cues, despite keeping up with the look of a small hatch. To begin with the styling of the car, the automaker starts by adding its signature spindle grille to the car, taking up minimal space, and keeping up with the styling.

Further, the car picks up on a 3-beam Bi-LED headlight that is shaped in an L arrowhead format. Lexus has done a great job of keeping up with most of its aggressiveness in the front. The automaker calls it its ‘Aero Stabilizing Blade Lights’ that function as side indicators as well. Moving to the rear of the car, it gets a single eyebrow taillight strip that is the first of its kind by the automaker.

Lexus UX Ride & Handling

The Lexus UX is surely a step beyond the traditional model. The car performs greatly and has a definite and strong steering response. Its immensely powerful engine never lets you down in terms of delivering premium performance and acceleration. Interestingly, the suspension of the car is worth a shoutout as it delivers comfort at varied speeds and over rough terrains as well. Another notable aspect of the car was its driving, the UX has its technology centred around an arm’s length of the driver of every size.

UX Engine & Fuel Consumption

The Lexus UX is powered by a 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine that is paired to an automatic CVT transmission that is beyond a traditional 2.0L CVT in terms of its performance. It’s Toyota Motor’s latest Dynamic Force Dual VVT-i technology gives out an impressive 168 hp of power and 205 Nm of peak torque to the front wheels.

Lexus UX Braking & Safety

Moving to the braking aspect of the car, it is accompanied by McPhrerson Strut suspension that tends to deliver the car paired to independent braking on its rear.

Safety-wise, the car picks up on a number of airbags, followed by EBD, Day & Night Rear View Mirror, Brake Assist, Anti-Lock Braking System, among all the other necessary pieces.

UX Verdict

The Lexus UX is definitely a powerful offering when it comes to its range. The car is a good option to buy if you have a limited number of family members as it is limited to four, in terms of seating occupancy. Further, considering the price of the car, it is definitely worth going for its appealing segment.
