The three-spoke, electrically adjustable, multi-functional and heated steering wheel has a high-set instrument console binnacle with a full-TFT screen behind it. The dashboard of the LS has a yacht-like layout, with it having a wide 12.3-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with an integrated analogue clock to its side in the middle.

The Lexus LS is a visual delight with its extremely dynamic and curvaceous styling all around. The front profile of the LS has the trademark spindle-themed grille that extends down to the lower edge of the front bumper. The Z-shaped all-LED headlamps and curved air vents on the corners of the front bumper further elevate the dynamism of the LS. 

The low-slung and long profile of the Lexus LS, when viewed from the side, is what makes the sedan look so poised and elegant. The LS has large 20-inch premium grade wheels with machined finish and large rounded wheel arches over them, while the front and rear fenders get smooth rounded flares over them.

At the back, the Lexus LS has wishbone-shaped combination tail lamps with LED inserts, along with a fine chrome strip. The chrome has been used abundantly for the surrounds of the front grille, fog lamps, exhaust ports, fender extensions and window frames.

Measuring 5235mm long, 1900mm wide and 1460mm tall, the Lexus LS has multi-link with air suspension at both ends. This comfort-tuned adaptive variable suspension setup in the Lexus LS has access mode control, auto levelling, vehicle height selection and high-speed sensitive function for optimal comfort. The LS feels promising behind the steering wheel with six drive modes – Normal, Eco, Comfort, Sport S, Sport S+ and Custom. 

The Malaysia-spec Lexus LS is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine, which churns out a maximum power output of 415 bhp and a maximum torque output of 600 Nm. The 10-speed automatic transmission channels the power produced to the rear wheels of the sedan, which claims a maximum time of 5 seconds for the 0-100 kmph run, 250 kmph top speed and 10.5 kmpl fuel efficiency. 

The Lexus Safety System+ package of ADAS features on offer in the Lexus LS includes a front pre-collision system, road sign assist, trailer sway control, active cornering assist, lane keep assist with lane tracing assist safe exit assist, dynamic radar cruise control with stop and go function, adaptive high beam assist, blind sport monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, parking support brake and lane departure alert.
