The interior aesthetics of the new Toyota Corolla follows a stylish legacy of how an SUV should look like. The contemporary design can be easily seen on the dashboard and cockpit. As you get inside the luxury sedan you see a new multi-functional steering wheel with all buttons mounted for audio and Bluetooth. Behind the steering wheel lies a new TFT instrument cluster which makes the driver’s cockpit look stylish and sporty at the same time. The overall dashboard design looks like it has been very thoughtfully designed to house intricacies that make it look neat and calm without any fuss. The centre-instrument console has a wide touchscreen infotainment system and a U-shaped housing for AC vents and buttons for automatic climate control. The cabin has ample space with a comfortable rear bench. Additional features that add to the comfort and convenience of the occupants are the wireless phone charging, rear sunshade, vehicle telematics system, rain-sensing wipers, 3D panoramic view monitor and front, and rear digital video recorder.

The exterior aesthetics of the new iteration of Toyota Corolla looks futuristic with sleek T-shaped front grille, chrome garnishing and L-shaped LED headlamps with Daytime Running Lights. Long and wide vertical chrome garnishing around the fog lamps further uplift the style quotient of the front fascia. 

Coming to the side profile of this luxury sedan we see a sportier Toyota Corolla with completely revamped door designs and rear-view mirrors. The machined alloy wheels, and side windows, are larger than before, giving it an impression of a bigger car than the previous-generation model. Coming to the rear section we see a complete overhauling in term of style and design which includes the LED tail-lamps and bar chrome element between tail-lamps on either side. 

The suspension duties in the new iteration of Toyota Corolla are handled by Macpherson struts with stabiliser at the front and double-wishbone with stabilizer at the rear, a combination which is a first for a Corolla in all these years. This setup brings more agility to the car while retaining the trait of smooth ride quality.  

Under the hood of the new Toyota Corolla lies the same old school 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a seven-speed CVT gearbox as standard powertrain. The engine churns a maximum power output of 139 PS and a peak torque output of 172 Nm.

The new Toyota Corolla has more safety features than any other previous generation model had. Things like pre-collision system, dynamic radar cruise control, automatic high beam, lane departure warning, lane tracing assist, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle stability control, traction control, blind-spot monitoring system, tyre pressure monitoring system, emergency stop signal, 360-degree parking camera, front, side, curtain and knee airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, form part of the basic and standard safety equipment list of the Toyota Corolla. 

The Toyota Corolla will never go out of style when it comes to sedans at an affordable price. The latest Corolla upholds the tradition that Toyota has carried forward with its flagship sedan. From sharper exterior styling with prominent lines and an aggressive pair of headlamps, the car looks the best amongst all the previous versions of the car.
