The Bingo is the first product under the new TQ Wuling brand, a result of TCMH’s tie-up with Chinese carmaker SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGM Wuling).

The vehicle is set to be locally assembled and will be priced below RM100,000, positioning it as one of the most accessible fully electric models on the Malaysian market.

Wan Wei Sun, Head of Business at TQ Manufacturing, said the company was encouraged by the initial response to the Bingo at the recent Malaysia Autoshow and is now taking it to the people.

“We had an overwhelming response to the TQ WULING Bingo EV at the Malaysia Autoshow, and now we’re bringing that excitement directly to Malaysians nationwide. That’s the spirit driving the #HelloTQWBingo Tour—giving people a chance to experience the car first-hand and understand why this model matters in making EVs more accessible to more Malaysians,” he said.

The Bingo combines a retro-modern hatchback design with an electric powertrain, aiming to appeal to younger, urban buyers. Along with its aerodynamic shape and pastel paint options, it also promises practical features at an entry-level price.

According to TQ Manufacturing, the car is built to minimise long-term running costs, though full specifications and battery range details have yet to be confirmed publicly.

Future models under the TQ Wuling badge will also be locally assembled at TCMH’s long-standing plant, which has over 70 years of experience in automotive production and has rolled out over a million vehicles to date.

“The Bingo EV brings together the best of both worlds – TCMH’s local distribution and assembly excellence of over 70 years and SGM Wuling’s innovation in proven accessible EV technologies. We invite everyone to see what makes this model such an exciting, affordable, and relevant choice for urban drivers,” Wan Wei Sun added.
