All-new Honda BeAT launched in the Philippines

KUALA LUMPUR: To commemorate its 50th anniversary in the Philippines, Honda has launched the revamped version of the popular and affordable BeAT scooter. The latest model boasts a spruced-up design, new features, and an impressive fuel efficiency.

    The new Honda BeAT features a new body design with new eye-catching colour tones. The Playful trim is available in four shades - Fighting Red, Pearl Sylvestris Gray, Pearl Nightfall Blue, and Clipper Yellow. These striking shades are combined with unique decals making the scooter ideal for individuals with sporty personality and artistic flair.

    The Honda BeAT Premium, on the other hand, comes with a new 3D emblem, a new semi-digital metre panel, and gold colour 14-inch cast wheels wrapped with 80/90 front and 90/90 rear tubeless tyres. Two available colour options are - Pearl Arctic White and Matte Axis Grey.

    The Honda BeAT 50th Anniversary Limited Edition is inspired by Honda Tri-Colour variants and features new accents and a 50th Anniversary badge confirming its unique identity.

    The scooter is also equipped with the latest features and technologies, including  

    • New LED headlight
    • New ACC Power Socket
    • Secured key shutter with new integrated seat opener
    • Larger luggage box (12-litre)
    • Larger Fuel Tank Capacity (4.2-litre)

    At the core of the new Honda BeAT lies a new 110-cc ESP engine capable of generating a maximum power of 8.9 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 9.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine comes equipped with PGM-FI technology, which is an advanced fuel injection system offering an impressive fuel efficiency of 58.2 kmpl.

    As for the suspension, the revamped Honda scooter gets a telescopic front fork and mono rear shock. The braking is managed by a hydraulic disc at the front and a mechanical leading trailing unit at the rear. Also part of the kit is a Combined Braking System.

    No information is yet available on the arrival of the new Honda BeAT in Malaysia.
