Boon Siew Honda unveiled the limited-edition RS-X Winner Tricolor Edition and announced a lifestyle collaboration with Pestle & Mortar Clothing.
  • The event marks the local debut of a long-standing Honda tradition that has been celebrated in Japan since 2005 and replicated in different forms around the world. The idea is simple — a day to thank fans, partners, and riders who continue to share Honda’s passion for racing and innovation.

Thousands of attendees, from business partners to die-hard motorcycle fans, filled the venue to experience what Boon Siew Honda described as a day of appreciation and connection — blending community spirit with the brand’s racing DNA.

“Honda THANKS DAY is a long-standing tradition in Japan, and similar customer appreciation events are held in various forms around the world. Here in Malaysia, this event reflects Honda’s commitment to sharing joy and excitement with our customers and society,” said Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and CEO of Boon Siew Honda. “It is our way of expressing gratitude to Malaysian fans and riders who share our passion for motorsports.”

The highlight of the day came from a special appearance by Honda’s MotoGP and Asia riders — Joan Mir, Luca Marini, and Somkiat Chantra — joined by Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) riders Muhammad Zaqhwan Zaidi, Azroy Hakeem Anuar, Khairul Idham Pawi, Muhammad Helmi Azman, and Muhammad Syarifuddin Azman from Honda Racing Malaysia.

Fans were treated to an on-track demonstration where the MotoGP riders showed off their precision and control aboard the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. ARRC riders followed closely with performances on both the CBR1000RR-R and CBR600RR, showcasing the depth of Honda’s racing talent from global to regional levels.

RS-X Winner Tricolor Edition Makes Its Debut

Adding to the excitement, Boon Siew Honda took the opportunity to unveil the Honda RS-X Winner Tricolor Edition, a limited model inspired by Honda Racing’s DNA. It features RCB components for enhanced style and performance, with only 800 units available nationwide.

Honda also announced a new collaboration with Pestle & Mortar Clothing, launching a co-branded lifestyle collection that includes racing jackets, pants, t-shirts, caps, and utility bags. Each piece carries a joint emblem featuring a crown, gold triple stripes, and the words “Semangat Impian” — a nod to Honda’s Power of Dreams philosophy. The collection debuted at the event and will go on sale during MotoGP weekend.

Local acts B-Heart and Black Hanifah, along with DJ Fluffy, kept the crowd energized before the night ended with a lucky draw that saw fans walk away with prizes including MotoGP Corporate Suite Passes, a Honda ADV160, and the newly launched RS-X Winner Tricolor Edition.

Throughout the day, fans also explored booths from Honda’s partners including RCB, KYT, Proformance, MAXXIS, RKM, Ashuka, Yoshimura, ThreeBond, Aeon Credit, JCL Credit, Berjaya Sompo, EMS, and PETRONAS.

The inaugural Honda Thanks Day Malaysia successfully brought the global celebration closer to home — uniting fans, riders, and the brand under one shared passion for speed, performance, and community.
