Yamaha launches 2020 Lagenda 115Z SRT GP Limited Edition in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Yamaha has launched the 2020 Lagenda 115Z SRT GP Limited Edition at the final round of the Petronas Malaysian Cub Prix. The bike will arrive at the authorised Hong Leong Yamaha dealers in Malaysia from mid-December.

The 2020 Lagenda 115Z SRT GP Limited Edition have similar designing like the Petronas Yamaha SRT YZR-M1 MotoGP racing motorcycle, ridden by the SRT’s (Sepang Racing Team) riders, Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli at the 2019 MotoGP season.

2020 Lagenda 115Z SRT GP Limited Edition is equipped with a 117.3 cc air-cooled SOHC two-valve single-pot engine, which is capable of churning out a maximum power of 9.92 hp along with a peak torque of 9.9 Nm.

The maximum power and peak torque come at an engine rev range of 7,750 rpm and 6,500 rpm respectively. The power is sent to the wheels via a four-speed centrifugal clutch gearbox and uses the chain final drive.

The bike uses the EFI fuel injection system and has a fuel tank of 4 litres. The weight of the bike is 100 Kg and has a decent seat height of 765 mm. The 2020 Lagenda 115Z SRT GP Limited Edition rides on the 17-inch wheels.

Suspension wise, the 2020 Lagenda 115Z SRT GP Limited Edition rides on the 17-inch wheels and gets telescopic forks having the twin rear shock absorbers. To slow thing down, the bike gets a single hydraulic disc at the front, while a mechanical drum brake is present at the back.

2020 Lagenda 115Z SRT GP Limited Edition comes with a price tag of RM 5,580. With every bike, a customer will get an exclusive ownership certificate. For the GP-themed bikes of Hong Leong Yamaha, the Lagenda 115Z GP Edition will join with the likes of 2019 Yamaha YZF-R15 Monster limited edition.
