Lot of money to spend on Chinese reliability

The Dolphin from BYD is a pretty expensive EV, I understand that EVs are new and they’re feature-rich, but the pricing doesn’t seem justified. I think the companies are just trying to take in the cost the companies would have earned from servicing and repairing the cars from the buyers at the time of purchase itself. The biggest problem I have with this car is that the long-term reliability of this car is not tested and when I’m investing this amount on a vehicle, shouldn’t I ensure that the car will serve me for at least ten years?
