Long drives without second thoughts
I didn’t approach the Mazda CX-9 as an enthusiast, but rather as a parent who loves to plan long family trips. The i-Activ all-wheel-drive system impressed me the most, especially during heavy rain, as it distributed the grip calmly without any dramatic flair. Its 2.5L turbo engine delivers a strong, mid-range torque, which makes overtaking buses comparatively effortless. Inside, the cabin felt airy and spacious, while the second-row seat comfort eliminated complaints. I truly appreciate how stable the car felt at cruising speeds, even when fully loaded with people and luggage. Parking such a large SUV in older town centers requires a lot of patience. Still, for family-focused journeys, it delivers reassurance every time.
