With a black theme offered as standard for the interior, the Zeekr 009 is also available with two additional themes in the Ultra Luxury 6-seater variant – midnight blue with polar white for the Electric Blue colour scheme and stone grey with polar white for the Crystal White paint scheme. The cabin of the Zeekr 009 feels airy and spacious, thanks to its long wheelbase, a panoramic sunroof, and large-sized window panels all around.

The 10.25-inch TFT instrument console, a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 17-inch overhead foldable screen for rear seat entertainment, a head-up display, and a premium 20-speaker Yamaha surround sound system contribute the most to this van’s modern and luxurious appeal on the inside.

Other premium features available in the Zeekr 009 include powered front and second-row lounge seats with heating and ventilation functions, electrically-operated sliding doors tailgate, and wireless chargers. 

The traditional van-like appearance of the Zeekr 009, thanks to the boxy profile and large dimensions, does give it a purposeful look. However, there are many interesting design elements on the outside, which make the Zeekr 009 an attention grabber. Some might like it, some may not, but the 009 surely has a strong road presence. 

The loud-looking front profile of the Zeekr 009 is anything but subtle, with this large luxury van having an intelligent front grille, that looks stylish with the contrast grey surrounds and vertical chrome slats. The inverted U-shaped LED DRLs and trapezoidal clusters for the LED headlamps on the sides of this grille look attractive too, with the headlamps also featuring customizable light patterns.

The Zeek 009 looks equally massive and blingy when viewed from the side, with this huge MPV having large-sized door panels, rearview mirror, windows, and fenders. The 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels give the 009 an authoritative stance, while the window waistline also has a chrome finish for an added premium appeal. At the rear, the Zeekr 009 has a 1.47-metre-long LED-connected light bar running below the rear windscreen, connecting the wraparound LED tail lamps on the sides.

The Zeekr 009 has a comfort-oriented plush setup for its suspension combination – front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension. This conventional suspension system is complemented with standard air suspension and CCD electromagnetic damping, giving this huge three-row van good stability and ride comfort across all speeds. The six major ECUs and multiple sensors for transition between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive modes further give the Zeekr 009 more stability during changing terrains. 

Both the variants of the Zeekr 009 are available with a dual-motor all-wheel drive configuration, with the dual motors churning out a maximum power output of 612 PS and a maximum torque output of 693 Nm. Also standard in both variants is a 140kWh battery, one of the largest-ever batteries in a passenger vehicle. The WLTP-certified range of Zeekr 009 with this 140kWh battery stands at 582 km, with this luxury electric van capable of doing the 0-100 kmph run in 4.5 seconds. 

The wide array of autonomous driving assistance features offered in the Zeekr 009 as standard includes pilot assist, adaptive cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system, front, rear, and side park assist, lane keeping aid, blind sport information system with cross-traffic alert, lane change assist, oncoming lane mitigation, and rear collision warning. All these advanced safety features are controlled by seven 8MP HD cameras, four 2MP surround view cameras, and one 250m ultra-long range millimetre wave radar.

The other basic features of the Zeekr 009 include dual-stage airbags, traction control, hill hold assist, hill descent control, ABS with EBD and brake assist, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree parking camera.

While the Zeekr 009 misses out on a strong brand recall of other high-end full-size luxury SUVs and MPVs, it gives them a run for their money with its top-class features, luxurious appeal with many comfort and convenience features on the inside, and supple ride quality.
