We may have no clue, but designing a car is a tedious job one that requires year's of skill and extensive research work. No doubt, design engineers are paid in tons. But it's their skillful mastery that give the car a distinctive appeal plus influence its perform ace. But we often site some cars that are just hard to distinct apart from other. They strikingly look alike another car from auto brands Call it copying or deriving inspiration or plain old coincidence, but these cars striking resemblance is hard to ignore. Honda-Civic-Coupe-–-Kia-Forte-Koup

Honda Civic Coupe – Kia Forte Koup:

Civic has always been the quintessential city car for Honda, and their most lucrative product to. And when they decided to refurbish it in 2012, to bestow the car with contemporary design and styling modification, little did they knew that their direct competitor has set their eyes to copy the design. When the Korean automaker – Kia launched their Forte coup – they were daringly inspired by Civic. or starters, the Forte Coup and Civic has the same basic shape, and the frontend has numerous similarities, with identical looking grille and air vent design. With such close connection in its design aesthetics and duplicate styling, Kia Forte Koup is a doppelganger of Honda Civic Coupe – well did Kia copied the design or derived inspiration from it, you decide.

Rolls-Royce-Phantom-–-Geely-GE

Rolls-Royce Phantom – Geely GE:

What is the USB of Rolls-Royce's car?. Their unparalleled luxury or jaw-dropping design. No, it's their element of novelty, if you own a Rolls-Royce, you are certainly going to stand apart in the crowd. Priced at nearly half a million dollars, which automaker can copy this iconic masterpiece. Well, it's none other then Geely's GE. Just when we thought, Rolls-Royce Phantom is epic and can't have any competition, Geely decided to let us just say “recreate” the ultimate symbol of luxury at almost half the price. The Geely first displayed its look-alike GE in 2009, it received grave criticism for bluntly copying the Phantom even got shot with a legal notice by Rolls-Royce. The similarities are hard to miss with the duplicate fronted and even the winged mascot on top. However Geely soon remodeled its GE car next year, but still it became the doppelganger of the legendary Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Mitsubishi-i-MIEV-–-Tata-Nano

Mitsubishi i-MIEV – Tata Nano:

Mitsubishi's i-MIEV is among the most affordable electric car worldwide. The 5-door hatchback received rave accolades for its compact styling, powerful electric motor and cheap on the pocket price. But much to their uprise and ours, a car completely far of it league is Mitsubishi i-MIEV's doppelganger. Tata's quintessential city car – Nano which broke all records in India for being the cheapest car, very obviously derives its design inspiration from Mitsubishi's i-MIEV. Both the car being a 5-door hatchback has the similar egg-shaped body and a slanting bumper. The rear spoilers and roof also has identical structure.

Toyota-Prius-–-Honda-Insight

Toyota Prius – Honda Insight:

When Toyota first launched its ultimate hybrid vehicle – Prius, it instantly proved as a game changer in the market. Even in the present time – Toyota Prius is the highest selling electric. Not just its engine, the Prius was applauded for its modern design and a distinctive rear styling. But who knew that its immediate competitor will not just try to eat in Prius market but also create a look-alike car. We are talking about Honda's lucrative city car Insight. Just one look at the side and rear profile of both the cars and you will find spitting similarities one couldn't ignore. With the identical rear spoilers, slanting roof and sleek bumper with elongated headlights, one can say Honda Insight is a doppelganger of Toyota Prius.

Smart-Fortwo---Shuanghuan-Noble

Smart Fortwo - Shuanghuan Noble:

You might not much like its design but lets face it, the Smart Fortwo is an easy and inexpensive city car that is easy to maneuver in jam-packed traffic. The Smart Fortwo was completely refurbished in its latest variant with a wider body but still maintaining its compact element. Its doppelganger? Shuanghuan Noble very daringly took the design of Smart Fortwo. At just one glance, the body panels and overall design looks very identical.
