2025 Mercedes-Benz EQV launched in Malaysia at RM 450k

KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Vans Malaysia has expanded its lineup in Malaysia with the launch of the all-new EQV. Distributed via Hap Seng Trucks Distribution (HSTD), the Mercedes-Benz EQV 300 is the fully electric version of the V-Class, featuring an electric motor and battery system instead of a traditional internal combustion engine.

The Mercedes-Benz EQV is offered in a sole EQV300 Avantgarde variant, priced at RM 450,350 (on the road, without insurance). Included in the price is a two-year, 200,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty.

2025 Mercedes-Benz EQV: Drivetrain, range, and charging

The all-electric luxury MPV is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor that generates a maximum power of 204 PS and a peak torque of 365 Nm. The motor is fed by a 90-kWh lithium-ion battery that offers a WLTP-claimed range of up to 374 km on a single charge.

The EV supports up to 11 kW AC charging and 110 kW  DC fast charging; the latter can juice up the battery from 10 to 80% in 40 minutes.

The EQV measures 5,140 mm in length, 1,918 mm in width, and 1,923 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 3,200 mm.

In terms of styling, the electric MPV retains the elegant silhouette of the V‑Class, enhanced with EQ electric design cues. Key highlights include -

As for safety, the customers get several active and passive systems, offering protection to passengers and other road users. The MPV is packed with front, side-thorax, full-length curtain airbags for all rows (A–D pillars), Pre‑Safe system and 3-point seatbelts on all seats, with ISOFIX anchor points on rear seats.

The advanced driver assistance pack comprises Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Attention Assist, and Intelligent Speed Assist. Parts of the Parking Package are - a 360° camera, Active Parking Assist, Rear Cross‑Traffic Alert, and Drive‑Away Assist.
