Audi TT facelift launched in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur: Audi has now officially launched the new Audi TT in the centre of Kuala Lumpur today. Now in its 3rd generation, the coupe made its debut locally with a single 2.0-litre TFSI engine variant which is priced at RM 284,900 on road including GST not including insurance.

Globally, the third generation Audi TT made its global debut at Geneva motor show last year, exactly 16 years after the revolutionary Typ 8N iconic Shreyer-penned drive exploded the auto world. The length of TT Coupe measures 4180mm which is exactly the same length as the precursor, however for additional comfort the wheelbase of Audi TT has grown by 37mm to measure 2505 mm which successfully interprets into smaller overhangs. The new TT is also more measuring 1837mm but the height remains same at 1353 mm.

On the outside, the hexagonal grille is now more broad and more flat that it used to be before and the sharp contours run across a V along the hood, which holds on to four Audi rings. The insides of the two door coupe expore you to a minimalist dashboard accompanied by trademark Audi TT circular vents. Overall the power output of 2.0-litre TFSI engine measures 230 bhp and 370 Nm between 1600 to 4300 rpm paired with 6-speed S tronic double clutch gearbox with paddle steerings which helps this roadster to achieve 0-100 kmph checkpoint from a halt in just 5.9 seconds before clocking a top speed of 250 kmph.
