Here’s the first Aston Martin Valkyrie customer car

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, it is true. The Aston Martin Valkyrie has officially gone into production. The very first unit is fully ready and is out for delivery to its proud owner. Don’t worry more deliveries will take place in the coming week for the Valkyrie hypercar.

Tobias Moers, Aston Martin CEO on the completion of the first-ever new hypercar said, "It is an immensely proud moment for us to complete our first-ever hypercar. The Aston Martin Valkyrie programme has tested everyone who has worked on it to the limit but the commitment to the dream has produced a truly incredible car, an F1® car for the road. The Valkyrie is born out of the steadfast dedication of a large group of highly skilled engineers and technicians who have worked tirelessly to get #valkyrie to the production stage. I'm sure our customers will be delighted with what they have achieved."

Production details: The Valkyrie hypercar is manufactured at Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarter in England. All 150 units of the hypercar will be hand-built by highly skilled technicians and craftsmen. Each unit of the latest Aston Martin takes over 2,000 man-hours to complete and is put through its paces at the automaker’s high-performance facility at Silverstone.

Performance: Powering the Aston Martin Valkyrie is a Cosworth 6.5-litre V12 hybrid engine that pumps out a maximum power of 1,155 PS along with a peak torque of 900 Nm. As for the hybrid part, the Valkyrie benefits from a bunch of electronic features that even surpass F1 cars in the area. The list includes - active suspension, active aerodynamics, variable ride height, to name a few.

Price: The all-new Aston Martin Valkyrie is offered at a whopping price of £2.5 million which is over RM 14 million.
