In New Spyshots Hyundai Creta Revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: The revealing images of the Hyundai Creta compact SUV, sans disguised has been snapped by a reader of Motoroids. Instead of minor differences, Creta is similar to the Hyundai ix25 in China.

A chrome applique has been taken by rear registration plate enclosure of the Creta. The seen vehicle seemed to have silver-colored wind deflectors, which might be an aftermarket fitment venture. On the bootlid, The 'SX' badge on the bootlid blows the cover of this top model, so do the foglights, the projector headlights, wing mirrors, alloy wheels with some integrated turn signals and a rear wiper washer. Above this model, there was another variant with chrome-plated door handles and larger, diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The Creta gets its power from CRDi diesel engines of 1.4 and 1.6 litre and a 1.6-litre VTVT petrol engine, combined with automatic and manual transmissions. It will be unexpected if Hyundai has decided to provide a 4WD system for the typical SUV.

Based on the reports, at the Chennai plant, the Creta has already gone into production of the Korean carmaker and it will be revealed on July, 2015. It will be a good competitor for the upcoming Maruti S-Cross, Nissan Terrano, the Renault Duster and top-end variants of the Ford Ecosport on its range.
