Limited Edition Lotus Exige 360 Cup launched

Kuala Lumpur: Lotus has come up with a special version of its Exige V6 Cup, known as Exige 360 Cup. The altered version pertains more power than the predecessor along with some performance tweaks and would be produced as a limited addition of just 50 units produced. Apart from a power hike, it would Also get new lightweight panels.

It boasts of a 3.5-litre turbocharged V6 engine that now packs an extra 10 hp to produce 355 hp over the standard V6 Cup. A free-flowing induction and an improved exhaust are also provided to take this supercharged engine. It would also feature a bespoke lightweight front access panel and a new lightweight rear tailgate and a louvered panel which helps it to attain a lower weight of 1130 kg.

Apart from the new equipment, the 360 Cup gets the same front splitter, rear diffuser and a rear wing like that of the Exige V6 Cup along with the double wishbone suspension and a for way drive mode ( drive, sport, race and off) including launch control. With an evolution in designing, it would be made available in an option of four colours namely Metallic White, Metallic Grey, Metallic Black and Metallic Silver.

Moving on to the interior, it would get a new red Alcantara cabin, adjustable anti-roll bars, Ohlins race dampers, fire extinguisher and electrical cut-off, FIA carbon seats, air conditioning and removable steering wheel. CEO of Lotus Group, Jean-Marc Gales said- “The V6 Cup was a favorite amongst many knowledgeable customers with its incredible track performance and distinctive design. I am excited about the introduction of the new 360 Cup which moves the game forward with striking new design features and performance upgrades that offer phenomenal ability on road and track.”

To own this car, you need to be in Europe as in UK it is priced at £62,995. So you can expect it to get launched in Malaysia with a price tag of RM402,300 somewhere in near future.
