Like the exterior, the interior of the Lotus Eletre looks highly futuristic, with a cutting-edge layout for the dashboard and the presence of high-tech display screens for various functions. The cabin is draped in artificial leather and has an all-grey theme with gloss black and satin silver inserts at places to make it feel rich and premium.

The highlight of the cabin is the presence of various screens – slim 12.6-inch screens on either side of the dashboard, a centrally-placed 15.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 29-inch head-up display featuring semi-augmented reality, and an 8-inch rear seat display. All these screens offer crisp displays and are packed with plenty of systems and features of various in-car functions.

The front profile of the Lotus Eletre has a highly aerodynamic design for the bonnet and fascia. The lower edges of the bonnet are positioned with Matrix LED headlamps, which feature adaptive driving beam function and LED DRLs within them. The front bumper here has a very aggressive design, featuring a large air dam with triangular inserts across its width and air curtains on the sides for allowing air passage at higher speeds.

The smooth-flowing and aerodynamic appeal of the Lotus Eletre is present in the side profile too. The front and rear wheel rounded arches come with muscular-looking curvy haunches above them. While the Standard version comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, the S and R variants feature larger and sportier 22-inch alloy wheels. The door panels here are frameless and come adorned with flush-type door handles, which are illuminated.

At the back, the Lotus Eletre continues its futuristic appeal with an edgy design for the boot lid, which comes armed with a horizontal running LED light bar across its width. This light bar extends towards the tail lamps on the hollowed sides and merges with them. These hollows, along with the back side of the front fenders, incorporate air curtains for a more aerodynamic appeal.

In the top-spec variant, the Lotus Eletre comes with an active aero pack, consisting of an active rear spoiler, air dam, and rear spoiler wing in carbon fibre. It also comes with a carbon fibre pack, with a carbon fibre finish for the lower front spoiler lip, front bumper panels, side mirror covers, hood panels, lower rear diffuser, wheel arch extensions, and door inserts.

For a dynamic driving experience, the Lotus Eletre has been bestowed with air Suspension with a 2-chamber air spring, Continuous Damping Control (CDC) dampers, Integrated Chassis Control, and Torque Vectoring by braking. The top-spec R variant also adds in Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack, Lotus Intelligent Anti Roll Control Rear Wheel Steering, and Lotus Track Mode for a more purist driving experience.

There are two types of powertrains offered in the range of Lotus Eletre. The Standard and S variants come with a dual-motor setup, which claims 603 PS of power and 710 Nm of torque and can do 0-100 kmph in 4.5 seconds. The top-spec R variant’s dual-motor setup claims 905 PS of power and 985 Nm of torque and can do 0-100 kmph in 2.95 seconds. All three variants of the Lotus Eletre feature a 112 kWh lithium-ion battery, which claims a range of 600 km in the Standard and S variants and 500 km in the R variant.

The wholesome list of safety equipment standard in the Lotus Eletre lineup consists of electronic stability control, traction control, hill descent control, hill hold assist, brake assist, anti-rollover program, integrated chassis control, tyre pressure monitoring system and airbags all around. It also gets a parking pack, consisting of features like autonomous parking assist and remote parking assist.
