Luxurious Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is on its wheels to Geneva

KUALA LUMPUR: Geneva Motor Show is scheduled to be held next month and prominent automakers are preparing in full swing to mark the event.

The British manufacturer Bentley is acclaimed for its luxury clan of vehicles and is planning to amaze the industry with this luxurious coach-built car. This limited-edition model is named as Bentley Mulliner Bacalar and as a mysterious move, only the wheel design photo has been made viral by the automaker.

How beautifully does this coincide that a lake in Mexico is named Bacalar, due to its Seven shades of waters and going by the official press release details, Bacalar will be meticulously designed and hand-built by the automaker. Hence, we expect the beauty of its name to be explicitly justified with the dramatic designing of this luxury car.

As emphasised by the automaker, Bacalar will represent “Grand Touring at its most exhilarating”, so we assume the car to focus more on indulgence rather than performance. Ethically sourced and sustainable materials will be used for an impactful design inspired by the Bentley EXP 100 GT concept, which debuted in August 2019. Customers may be given choices for customization as per their liking, which is easier to get along with unceasing options available with these materials.

The teaser video does reveal some shiny, curvy metallic sheets that look almost identical to the EXP 100 GT’s rear-end styling. Bentley’s EXP 100 GT was a hulk measuring around 5.8 meters in length and almost 2.4 meters in width. We are anxious to see how much design details from EXP 100 GT are actually incorporated to Bacalar.

Bacalar is expected to be priced at around $2 million so no matter how exciting it gets to read about this luxury car, the grand tourer experience “will be enjoyed only by a lucky few”. Having said that, the automaker has also revealed that production of Bacalar will be limited to approximately 12 units.
