Dimensions
The three-row CX-80 measures 4,995 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, 1,710 mm in height, and spans a wheelbase of 3,120 mm. It is 250 mm longer, 24 mm taller, and has a 250 mm longer wheelbase than the soon-to-be-launched CX-60.
Design
With Mazda's signature KODO Design philosophy, the CX-60 boasts the "Graceful Toughness" design concept, which combines ruggedness and elegance.

The former has a chrome grille, light accents, maple wood interior trims and Nappa leather seats for a premium feel. The CX-80 Kuro, on the other hand, features dark accents, a black chrome grille, metal wood trims, and black brown leather upholstery, exuding a bold and luxurious vibe.
The CX-80 cabin promises ample space, comfort, and sophistication, with premium materials and attention to detail. It comes in both six-seat (2-2-2 layout with captain seats in the second row) and seven-seat configurations, the latter featuring a 60:40 split-folding bench in the second row.

Mazda offers the CX-80 with several powertrain options in the global market, including petrol, diesel, mild hybrids and plug-in hybrids. These include -
- 2.5 litre e-Skyactiv-PHEV naturally-aspirated inline-four petrol with plug-in hybrid system
- 3.3 litre e-Skyactiv-D inline-six turbodiesel with 48V mild hybrid system
- 3.3 litre Skyactiv-D turbocharged inline-six diesel
- 3.3 litre e-Skyactiv-G turbocharged inline-six petrol with 48V mild hybrid system
In Indonesia, the SUV comes with the 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated inline-four PHEV drivetrain, generating a total system output of 328 PS and 500 Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission and an i-ACTIV all-wheel drive system. Feeding the e-motor is a 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, which offers an all-electric range of 59 km.
