McLaren 540C, 570S are Available for Pre-Order

KUALA LUMPUR: The McLaren 540C and 570S, both are available for pre-order in the market, which is announced by McLaren. Both these models are poured from the British carmaker's Sports Series range, which is an “entry level” tier that lies below the Suer Series(650S Coupe and Spider) and Ultimate Series(P1 and P1 GTR).

The range of Sports Series is set with the McLaren 540C, which was launched in 2015 at Shanghai Motor Show. It is almost similar to the 570S in terms of its appearance and is save for the inclusion of slowly reworked aero package with unique alloy wheels of 18-inch units in front, 20-inch at the rear end. A twin-turbo 3.8 litre V8 engine with 540 PS and 540 Nm of torque is motivating the 540C.

It is paired to a seven-speed seamless shift gearbox (SSG), and can reach from zero to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, and to top speed of 320km/h. It has the same mill as McLaren 570S, although equipped with a heavier state of tune. Resulting, it is provided with 570 PS and 600 Nm of twist- straight-line performance, involves a century sprint time of 3.2 seconds and a top whack of 328 km/h.

The price of the McLaren at its launch is starting from £126,000 (RM740,518), while the 570S is priced at £143,250 (RM841,899), much costly than McLaren. Deliveries of former will begin at the start of the next year.
