Mitsubishi Malaysia launches its pre-owned car program, Max Certified

KUALA LUMPUR: The used car segment is a potential one in Malaysia and therefore automakers are getting into it to expand its network and benefit its customers. One such automaker to do so is Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM).

MMM has just launched its used car programme called Max Certified wherein it is offering fully tested pre-owned cars to buyers.

Shinya Ikeda, CEO of MMM said, “In addition to strengthening the Mitsubishi brand within the used car sector and building the residual values of Mitsubishi vehicles, Max Certified aims to improve customer retention. We also hope to offer those who are interested in purchasing a used Mitsubishi car a more accessible and trustworthy platform.”

Here are a few key details about MMM’s Max Certified programme -

• Each used car undergoes a 150-point inception which is taken care of by a professionally trained company specialist
• Each unit is covered by a 12-month warranty which includes repair and/or replacement of several components like the engine, transmission, steering, and other electronic components
• Along with the car, the buyers will receive a service e-voucher worth RM 500 that can be redeemed at any authorized dealer during periodic maintenance

• All the used cars offered under the programme are aged 7 years or below with 180,000 km covered at the time of trade-in, therefore buyers need not worry about the purchase
• Peace of mind is guaranteed with the use of genuine parts from MMM-authorized service centers
• The cars are free from flood and accident damage
• The program offers pre-owned cars with a complete service record from Mitsubishi Motors' authorized service centers

Interested buyers can check out the pre-owned units at the dealership and trade in their vehicle for a new one.
