Two-year worth free maintenance with VW Passat and Tiguan

KUALA LUMPUR: Volkswagen Malaysia is offering a fantastic deal for two of its best-selling cars, the VW Passat and Tiguan. Both these cars now come with an additional two years of maintenance, thus bringing the total to five years of free maintenance or 75,000 km, whichever comes first. Besides, these cars also come along with five years of roadside assistance and five years of unlimited mileage warranty.

The said VW promotion is valid on cars brought between 1st July and 31st December 2019. It is applicable on all the models of the Passat and Tiguan, including the JOIN and Sound & Style editions.

Wait, that’s not all! On purchase of the Passat and Tiguan, buyers can also enjoy a low-interest rate of 1.88 percent per annum. This would assure a saving of RM 15,100 on the Passat and RM 13,800 on the Tiguan.

The VW Passat is the German automakers best selling midsize sedan. It is offered in two engine options - a 1.8-litre TSI turbocharged unit that powers the Comfortline trim and is coupled to a 7-speed direct shift gearbox. It churns out 180 PS and 250 Nm. Next is the 2.0-litre TSI turbo mill found under the Highline model. It churns out 220 PS and 350 Nm and is paired to a 6-speed direct shift gearbox.

Meanwhile, the VW Tiguan is a compact five-seater SUV that is powered by a 1.4-litre TSI turbo mill. This unit is paired to a 6-speed direct shift gearbox with sport mode and develops 150 PS and 250 Nm. Its long list of safety equipment includes - 6 airbags, Hill-hold Control, Intelligent Crash Response System, Electronic Stability Control, and Multi-collision brakes. Also, on offer is a 3-zone climatronic cooling system, Park Assist, and manoeuvre braking.
